COMPANY PROFILE
After
commencing business in 1968, in Melbourne L & B Nominees
Pty Ltd recognised the advantages of relocating to Geelong in 1970.
The center of an integrated wool industry, we moved our premises
to Factories Road, Geelong, Victoria.
In 1980 the
company acquired land at Boundary Road, Breakwater, Victoria,
and built a purpose designed factory complex to house
it’s
expanding operations. The fully-owned premises at Boundary Road
currently house integrated facilities for dyeing loose stock,
yarn and top
and the in-house chemical and physical processes for adapting
fibre characteristics to customer specifications.
In 1995 the company extended the building to house a new laboratory
and administrative complex.
Year 2001-2002 saw the introduction of the new yarn dyeing and drying
equipment with the latest and best technology.
Years 2002 - 2003 saw the introduction of the new state of the art
technology in non-woven manufactures specialising in natural fibres
and mixtures.

and diversity of activities gives L & B Williams
Nominees Pty Ltd a comprehensive knowledge and overview of the
wool industry, from carpet manufacturers through to worsted yarn
spinners
to pile fabric manufacturers, and the non-wool fibre industries.
We are renowned
for our technical and innovative abilities. We are regularly
called upon as consultants to other companies in the fibre
and textile industry throughout Australia and overseas machinery
manufacturers have sought information on the performance improvements
on their equipment achieved by the company.
The company has a broad spectrum of commercial, trade and technical
contacts throughout these industries and fibre-related industries
in Australia and overseas, where the company's achievements are widely
recognised.
The Research & Development
testing laboratory facility and workshop are in the main complex
and the value-added, non-woven
manufactured
product line is housed as an independent operation in a separate
building.

people.
