"Forties Achievements"

CH Leighvalley Famenfortune (Fortie) has taken several classes in show and was placed
fourth in the Baby Puppy Dog class at the 2000 National Golden Retriever Champ
Show at the tender age of 4 1/2 Months.
Fortie achieved his first CC at ten months of age.
Fortie was awarded Best Dog, Runner Up in Parade and Puppy in Parade at the
2001 Golden Retriever Club of Victoria Open Parade.
Nov 2001 GRC of Vic Specialty Show Best Opposite Junior in Show, judge
Mrs K Crosbie-Black (Scotland).
Fortie has sired his first litter in March 2002 to CH Leighvalley Everlasting TD.
He achieved his show title in January 2003.
After gaining his show title Fortie began training in Tracking and achieved
his TD title in July 2003.
August 2003 Fortie won the open dog class at the GRC of SA specialty champ show.
October 2003 Fortie achieves Best of Breed under Breed Specialist
Raymond Greenwood (UK) at the ACT Gundog Society Champ Show.
November 2003 Fortie awarded Tracking Dog of the Year for the GRC 2002/2003.
He is best described as a very happy and outgoing dog with real personality.
