This is a small sample of roses of various varieties which have proven popular over the years.

Peace: See photo -Perhaps the world's most popular rose winning many awards. Yellow petals with strong pink edges, turning to pink as it matures. A hardy rose with strong fragrance. Ideal for cut flowers. Hybrid, Climber and Standard.

Sylvia: Bright pink with touch of yellow at the base of the petals. Long lasting and fragrant. Hardy if grown in full sun and in well drained location. Hybrid Tea and Standard.

Queen Elizabeth: See photo -A strong, large growing rose with bright pink bloom. An extremely hardy rose which will grow in all climates. Considered by many the best rose in the world. Hybrid Tea, Climber and Standard. Fragrant.

Iceberg: One of the most popular of the white roses with a profusion of blooms. Excellent for cut flowers, it is extremely hardy and one of few roses which can be successfully grown in shaded areas. Fragrant. Hybrid Tea, Floribunda and Standard.

Violet Carson: Folded light pink petals and pale yellow at the base. Grows well in most climates, it requires full sun and plenty of mulch material, especially in summer. Floribunda.

Apricot Nectar: See photo -Large, well shaped apricot blooms growing in clusters. Suitable for most climates and extremely hardy. Floribunda and Hybrid Tea (Apricot Delight).

Double Delight: See photo -A creamy coloured bloom with deep red outer edges. As it matures the flower turns light red and is lightly scented. Prefers open sun, but with additional attention to soil and drainage, can be grown in semi shaded areas. Hybrid Tea and Floribunda.

Amatsu-Otome: Strongly scented, with large yellow flowers. Prefers a moderate climate and plenty of mulch, it is excellent for cuttings. Floribunda and Hybrid Tea.

Magic Carrousel: A white rose with deep red edging. Grows in clusters and is fragrant. Prefers full sun and light sandy soil. Grows well in pots. Miniature

Lili Marlene: A deep red rose with prolific blooms, prefers well drained location and full sun. Petals have a velvety appearance, similar to another red rose, Black Velvet. Floribunda and Hybrid Tea.

Tequila Sunrise: See photo -A scarlet tipped rose with yellow base, it makes an excellent cut flower. Plenty of mulch and water during summer months. Floribunda and Hybrid Tea.

Mister Lincoln: See Photo -Large, strongly perfumed deep red rose, with long stems. Ideal for cutting, prefers full sun and is suitable for most climates. Hybrid Tea, Climber and Standard.

Peter Frankenfeld: See photo -A prolific growing, rich pink rose on strong stems. Attractive from bud to full bloom. Suitable for cutting and grows well in most climates. Fragrant. Hybrid Tea and Standard. .

Fragrant Cloud: See photo -Scarlet coloured, double blooms. Strong fragrance and attractive shaped bush. Hybrid Tea and Standard.

John F. Kennedy: See photo -A pure white rose, with attractive shape. Strong stems and double blooms. Attractive from bud to full bloom. Hybrid Tea and Standard.

Baron E. De Rothchild: See Photo -A vigorous, long stemmed rose with large double blooms. Ruby red, aging to a mauve pink with a red-tinged white reverse. Fragrant. Standard and Hybrid Tea.
