Who's Hurting

Is it me, is it you, who's hurting? Can we face the truth? Who's hurting? Who did we expect to find? Is there any reason why we can't be free? Your eyes are so clear. A fire burning. My soul is not here. I'm turning to a narrow road of stone, that I must travel down on my own. I know it's not what you were hoping. If I could be bold and assume. In any case, now that I've spoken, there's something more to say to you, I'll always love you. 'Cause we have shared so much: sweet joy and bitter tears, warm loving. I couldn't ask for more. Your heart is always warm. If I could give you all you wanted, in a blink it would be yours. Quick as a heart beat, I'd be on it and give you all that you deserve. Who’s hurting?
