Planet Ark

Regularly updated this is the homepage of the organisation of the same name. Interesting for the up to date material.
The Environment Page
 http://www.eps.vic.edu.au/ev.htm
This page is from Grade 3 and 4 at the Emerald PS where they have been finding out how they can cut down on rubbish at school and at home. The site is set up with cool graphs and photos.
Worldwide Home Environmentalists' Network
http://home.vicnet.net.au/~when/
Another Australian based organisation it is a non-profit community based organisation that provides information about environmental issues in the home. They specialise in waste minimisation and encourage individuals to make ecologically sustainable lifestyle choices. Some good links.

This American site aims to take an in-depth look at the complex issues surrounding municipal solid waste. This on-line exhibition is  organized into four major sections: What Is Garbage?, There's No  "Away", Nature Recycles, and Making Choices.
US EPA's Explorer Club For Kids

This site has some great sections within it. In this instance take the Garbage and Recycling link for some interesting stories. When Greenville turned brown is a lot of fun.
